Great. Love the reporting. My lawyer friends and I all follow and discuss. We're mostly in Athens. The episode on the Fulton Co. Jail was jaw dropping. I *knew* it was terrible but I was still blown away. Great work by you and the team.
Always a mental workout, George, because I really try to learn from someone whose life experience is so different from mine. I was struck by a chicken-or-the-egg sequence in the redistricting discussion regarding the “Lucy McBath” seat. Do the Asian and Black voters you mentioned tend to vote as a bloc, and for Democrats, because the Republicans have given up on appealing to them, or is it the other way around? I live and vote in DeKalb and volunteer in Gwinnett, and I have been favorably impressed by what I see as real progress in that county as compared to mine. I recently learned DeKalb was incorporated as far back as 1828. When I reflect how very recently Black citizens could begin to exercise their full franchise, I tend to excuse the chicanery in our county’s politics. So maybe I romanticize what I take to be progress in Gwinnett.

Why only two more episodes of King Slime? Great podcast and the trial is just getting going...

So much to digest in this one. Thank you George! Much appreciated!
