As we contemplate all the reasons crime may have risen in the city of Atlanta, consider that home schooling makes misbehavior -- and abuse -- harder to catch. That's extra true when kids disappear.

Violent crime jumped in Atlanta for a bunch of reasons. Gangsters warring over the club scene, or levelling up. Domestic violence driven by the pandemic, with people cracking because there’s nowhere to run from a bad situation. People sorting out street beef themselves because they no longer trust cops to act in their interest.
